I'm Oliver, 43, from Saarland, Germany. I studied Communication Design and Photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier, while running my own recording studio for musicians and, as a musician myself, I've developed a deep understanding of the creative process, which shaped my approach to working with sound, music and visuals early on.

 

I've been working with companies and brands on national and international projects for over two decades, gaining wide experience in communication design, typography and photography.

Since 2020, I've been focusing mainly on film. Simply because it's the only logical thing for me to do after this journey. Everything comes together in film: Working with cameras, sound, words and images, communication and collaboration. It's also the most effective way for me to channel my expertise into storytelling, both for clients and a wider audience.

A first step into film festivals will be taken with the upcoming screening of a recently produced

music video at the Max Ophüls Preis 2025.

Together with my wonderful wife Denise Rodrigues, we want to work on documentary film projects in 2025.
